I’ve always loved being the “translator” between tech and people. With IIoT, that means helping manufacturing teams turn all the complex data and systems around them into clear, useful insights they can actually act on—whether it’s boosting productivity, improving performance, or keeping machines running smoothly.
Along the way, I’ve spent 10+ years as a Senior Technical Writer and eLearning Developer, creating software guides and online training that make learning feel less like a chore and more like a discovery moment. At the end of the day, what excites me most is connecting cutting-edge technology to real-world outcomes and helping people feel confident using it.
Developed an AR training app for iOS using SOLIDWORKS, Creo Illustrate, Vuforia Engine, and an Angular, JavaScript and Ionic framework. This hardware setup and operations training app allowed lottery retailers to install and learn how to maintain their Instant Ticket Vending Machines faster than on-site procedures.
UI/UX development for web-based training, designing interactive emulations of retailer terminals, first with Adobe Flash/Flex and then converting to HTML5/AngularJS in 2014. Since then, there has been over 50,000 lottery retailers enrolled. I was also responsible for tracking completion data and creating automated reporting.
Partnering with Automation Intelligence, to digitize the testbed at the Connected Systems Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, this solution included an advanced "anywhere" digital HMI, enabling real-time simulations of changeovers to track KPIs and OEE. I led the project team in an augmented reality demonstration at Automation Fair 2024 in Anaheim, CA.
Designed hundreds of IAB-compliant banner ads for the automotive industry; Developed dozens of websites for both OEM and retail automotive markets, small businesses and academia.
Authored over 100 administrator manuals and user guides for global lottery companies, working with SMEs to verify software updates and translators international users. I was also a member of the STC (Society for Technical Communication) from 2015 - 2023.
